Visual Integration in the Structural System of Juliette Clovis’s Ceramic Works: An Analytical Study of Form and Content
Abstract
The research deals with an analytical study of the works of the French pottery Juliette Clovis from a visual and structural perspective, as it seeks to reveal the mechanisms of visual integration achieved by the artist in her works through her masterful use of plastic elements (shape, color, movement, and texture) within an artistic system based on contemporary concepts. From this perspective, the research includes an introduction, the research problem, the need for and importance of the research, its objectives, as well as its thematic, temporal, and spatial limitations, leading to the definition of the most important research terms. The research also included the concept of visual integration and integration in artwork: from ancient to contemporary philosophy, as well as the potter Juliette Clovis and visual references. Then, the indicators of the theoretical framework and previous studies. It also included the research procedures and analysis of the research sample models. This was followed by the research results and their discussion, conclusions, recommendations, and proposals, and then the research concluded with a list of sources.
